... to my website about the Educational System of the United Kingdom. From October 2008 until May 2009 I worked as Foreign Language Assistant at St Mary's Catholic High School in Chesterfield, Derbyshire (England). During this time I was given the opportunity to experience the English school system through my daily work. I spent most of the time teaching Year 12 and 13 in one-to-one lessons to prepare them for their A-Level oral exams in German. As well, I taught small groups in Year 9, 10 and 11. I will include my experiences of the British educational system in this webpage.
